HYDERABAD, Oct 3: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Y S Rajasekhar Reddy today asked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to institute a CBI probe into the assets acquired by him and his Cabinet colleagues.Speaking to reporters here, Reddy supported the demand of former TDP Minister S V Subba Reddy for a probe by a sitting High Court judge into the assets acquired by all Ministers including the Chief Minister.Reddy, a senior TDP leader from Kurnool district was sacked from Cabinet on Thursday last following corruption charges pending against his son.``If the Chief Minister has any morals he should order a CBI inquiry to probe into assets acquired by him and his family members and Ministers,'' Reddy said, adding there appeared to be prima facie case in the charges made by Reddy. An agitated Reddy, holding the portfolio of roads and buildings incharge in the Cabinet, had yesterday lashed out at the Chief Minister. for dropping him from the Cabinet.
``It really pained me the way I was sacked.If I was sacked for the wrongs done by my son, then the Chief Minister himself faces more serious charges. They have to be proved,'' the former Minister said and sought a probe by a sitting High Court judge into the assets acquired by all Ministers including the Chief Minister.
