NAGPUR, Oct 4: Elf-Vengsarkar Academy overwhelmed Anant Kelkar XI by 299 runs, while Pure Gold XI swept past Kamraj Kesari XI by an innings and 112 runs in the second round matches of the Pure Gold Cup Ranji Trophy Selection cricket tournament here today.Medium-pacer Sandip Dahad (5-50), Amit Pagnis (78) and Saket Adhikari (64 not out: 1x4, 3x6) were instrumental in Elf's big win.
Kelkar XI, facing 379 runs for an outright win, finished the third day's play with 31 for three wickets. Today, Sandeep Dahad, who had three wickets in the first innings, produced a fiery spell to bundle out the opposition for 79.
