Arboretum project shelved
BANGALORE, Oct 4: The Karnataka Government has shelved the proposal of the Horticultue Department for starting an arboretum in Cubban Park. It might be noted that the area suggested for the project is in the possession of the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Assocition and has been in controversy as the 25-year period for which it was leased out to the latter has expired.Copyright © 1998 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
