Deolali youth burnt to death

UNITED NEWS OF INDIA  
NASHIK, OCT 6: A youth, aged 20, was burnt to death by three youths at Deolali village about ten km from here following an old animosity between them.

Police said, Santosh Rokde, resident of Vadarwadi area was burnt alive by Nagnath Mhaske, Banse Laxman Mhaske and Ramchandra Chandu Mhaske following a quarrel.

Santosh registered a complaint with the police after he was beaten up mercilessly by the three youths on Saturday. On the evening of the same day, the trio called Santosh out of his house and again started beating him. The angered youths then poured kerosene on Santosh and set him ablaze.

He was admitted to Bitco hospital in serious condition and succumbed to burn injuries on Monday.

Following his dying declaration, police arrested the three youths. The sessions court granted them police custody till October eight.
