Books on Dange released

MUMBAI, October 10: ``Comrade Dange was a gifted intellectual. I am amazed by the depth of his scholarship and his capacity to analyse historical and economic facts. He was a product of the 19th century Maharashtra,'' said Governor Dr P C Alexander, at a book-release function as part of the birth centenary (October 10) fete of the pioneer of communist thought in India and the founding father of the Communist Party of India -- Comrade Shripad Amrut Dange.The Governor released three books -- Ushakaal, an autobiography of Ushatai Dange, wife of Comrde Dange, Vedic India by Dange and its Marathi translation by his daughter, Roza Deshpande.
