VADODARA, Oct 11: Like father, like son. This adage was proved right while talking to Kunal Goswami, son of film actor Manoj Kumar, famed for his `patriotic' cinema. Goswami was here to attend the Vadodara National Marathon on Sunday.During a brief chat with Express Newsline at Vadodara airport, Goswami clarified that he had not gone into ``hibernation'', but was actively involved in production. But that did not mean that he would never act, he stressed.
While Manoj Kumar was always associated with patriotic films, Kunal Goswami said he did not wish to be bound by any such cliches. ``I would rather do anything that comes by; whether it is television or cinema on any subject'', he said. ``To portray the images of Punjab, Bharat and Indian society are still my priorities. I will be on the screen again with Rishi Kapoor and Manisha Koirala in my production Jai Hind, which is scheduled to be released in a couple of months,'' he said.
While Jai Hind is based on the Jammu and Kashmir turmoil, Goswami said he was also producing socially relevant TV serials.
