NEW DELHI, October 16: Loretto entered the girls final of Nike-Don Bosco invitational inter-school basketball tournament, beating Convent of Jesus and Mary 27-16. Mahima (8) and Deepshika (4) were the leading scorers for the winners and losers, respectively.In a one-sided boys section quarterfinal, St George's School outplayed St Columba's 40-20. Tapan (13), Himanshu (13) and Saurabh (8) were the main scorers for the winners. Mohit (6) top-scored for St Columba's.
Saturday's matches
Girls semifinal: G D Goenka School vs Carmel Convent, 9 am.
Boys semifinals: DPS Mathura Road vs Mount St Mary's, 10 am; Don Bosco vs St George's School, 11 am -- Don Bosco School.
