Mahathir's Malaysian morality
Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said dismissed deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim was not fit to succeed him as premier, reports in Tokyo said on Saturday. ``I don't know about other countries, but in Malaysia, illegal sexual acts are not permitted on religious grounds,'' the Mainichi Shimbun quoted Mahathir as saying.
Salman Khan back; reprieve for Salim
Actor Salman Khan arrived in Mumbai tonight after he was released on bail by the district and sessions Judge D N Joshi in two cases relating to killing of two black bucks and a chinkara. Salman had been under judicial custody in Jodhpur Central Jail for the past five days.
Action against RSS chief put on hold
The Kalyan Singh government has changed its mind on the notice served on RSS chief Rajendra Singh or Rajju Bhaiya against an ``illegal construction'' and violation of lease norms at the house leased out to him in Allahabad.
