CHANDIGARH, Oct 20: In a middle-rung reshuffle in the city police, six deputy superintendents of police have been transferred from their present postings.According to reliable sources, Surjit Singh, who is currently the DSP (South) has been posted as DSP (Central division), while S.C. Abrol who was posted as the DSP (Central) replaces Vijay Pal Singh as DSP (Police Lines). Vijay Pal Singh has been posted as the DSP (East) in place of S.C. Sagar, who has now been posted as DSP (Crime).
Jaspal Singh, who was earlier DSP (Crime) has been posted as DSP (Security) in place of B.D. Bector, who has been posted as DSP (South).
Meanwhile, Inspector B.S. Negi, has taken over as the SHO Police Station, Sector 31, relieving Mani Ram Kadian who was holding the post on additional charge, sources said.
