3 killed in car-tempo collision

MUMBAI, Oct 22: Three persons were killed on the spot and three others injured in a head-on collision between a Maruti car and a tempo in Ovla village between Thane and Bhiwandi on Wednesday.Police said that the accident took place near the Ovla petrol pump at around 11.30 am. The injured have been admitted to the Thane civil and Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital at Bhiwandi. The police have identified the deceased as Jagdish Jethanand Asrani (37), Deepak Prakash Das (17) and one Amar.
