CHANDIGARH, Oct 22: The Municipal Corporation Public health Workers Union organised a demonstarion here today to "gear up" the workers for a torch-light procession on October 28 and a one-day token strike in November.A statement issued by union president Manmohan Singh said that the demonstration was on a call given by Joint Action ommittee of the MC employees and workers to demand that the employees transferred to MC be treated as deputation employees.
The rally was addressed by union general secretary Rajinder Katoch, legal advisor Ram Lal and ITI qualified association's Piara Singh Kang among others.
