CHANDIGARH, Oct 25: Sirsa won the women's team title by Faridabad 3-0 in the final of the 30th Haryana State Inter-Disctrict Table Tennis Championship being played at the DAV Public School, Sector 14 in Faridabad, according to information received here today. Monika, Rekha and Meenu were the star performers for the winners.Sirsa also won the boys team title by beating Yamunanagar by 3-1.Defending champions Sirsa qualified to clash Faridabad `A' in the men's team championship final.
In the first semi-final Sirsa beat Faridabad `B' 3-1 while Sandeep (Srs) lost to Gautam (Fbad) 17-21, 16-21 Ganesh (Srs) bt Mukesh (Fbad) 19-21,21-14,21-10, Sunil Ahuja (Srs) bt Anoop (Fbad) 21-18,1-13, Ganesh (Srs)bt Gautam (Fbad) 21-16,21-11.
Panchkula defeating Faridabad `B' men's team by 3-1 to finish third.

St John's win
St John's High School-26 and Yadavindra Public School, SAS Nagar entered the semifinal stage of the under-12 boys group in the Edmund Rice cricket tournament being played at St John's School.
