MUMBAI, Oct 26: Nearly one lakh people are expected to take part in the three-day conference of the Jamaat-E-Islami Hind, western zone, to be held here from November 13.M Farooqi, chief organiser of the meet, stated that special sessions have been organised to discuss issues like atrocities on women and corruption.
People belonging to different religions from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will participate in the meet, he said. For the states of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana a similar conference will be held from October 31 to November 2, he said.
