2 docs held in separate incidents

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
MUMBAI, Oct 27: The police have arrested a doctor for unwittingly administering an injection which killed a youth in Mulund last evening.

Sanjay Rathod (21), a resident of Shankar Tekdi, Mulund Colony, approached Dr Nirmalsingh Rajendrasingh Gill with a vial of `Tracrium' which he wanted Gill to inject him. The doctor, without ascertaining the vial's content, administered the injection. Moments later, Rathod felt giddy and died.

Police said that Rathod was not sick but a friend had recommended the drug for vitality. In another case, Agripada police arrested Dr Nazneen in a case of dowry death on Tuesday. Alimunnisa (23) died on October 22. Police said she was ill-treated by her mother-in-law Hanifa, sister-in-law Dr Nazneen and brother Imran.
