NOIDA, Oct 29: A senior Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) official died under suspicious circumstances in Noida on Saturday.Lalit Mohan, a RAW officer of the Superintendent of Police rank, was admitted to a hospital here with serious injuries. Doctors of the hospital referred him to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RML) in Delhi. Mohan died before the police could record his statement.
According to the police, hearing Mohan's screams from inside the bathroom, his wife tried to open the door, only to find it bolted from inside. When the door was broke open, Mohan was found to be seriously injured.
According to sources, Mohan was undergoing psychiatric treatment.
The Noida police has not registered any case so far since it is yet to come to any conclusion.
