Arvind Mills
MUMBAI: The Arvind Mills Ltd today reported a sharp drop in net profit for the first half of 1998-99 to Rs 15.28 crore compared to Rs 60.28 crore in the corresponding period of previous year. Its operating margins dropped from 21 per cent in first half of 1997-98 to 11.9 per cent during the same period in the current year. However, sales was higher at Rs 464.20 crore against Rs 424.78 crore last year.
