Both the local girls had lackluster rounds today with Parnita (224) having no birdies and dropping shots on the first, 4th, 12th and 16th and making a double bogey on the 17th. Irina began well, playing the first nine just two over par, but then dropped five shots in the back nine. Shruti Khanna playing with the leaders had a ding dong round, dropping shots just as soon as saving part, but three birdies on the 9th, 13th and 18th saw her bring in a creditable round of 76.

It was Urvashi Sethi Sodhi, however, who played a steady golf through the day despite dropping shots on the opening two holes.
