NEW DELHI, October 30: Centuries by Manoj Srivastava (127: 13x4, 229m) and Balram Singh (122: 11x4, 291m) and their 225-run partnership for the fourth wicket in 59.5 overs helped Railways reach an imposing score of 345 for six on the opening day of their Central Zone Cooch Behar Trophy league match against Vidarbha at Air Force Palam grounds here today.Medium pacer Umesh Patil struck three early blows after Railways elected to make first use of the track. Patil finished with three for 38 while leg-spinner sameer Khare, who accounted for the dismissal of the two centurians, ended the day with two for 78.

Delhi gained five points while Haryana ended up with three when their North Zone Cooch Behar Trophy league match ended in a draw at Vishwakarma School grounds at Rohtak, according to reports reaching here.
Replying to Haryana's first innings score of 248, Delhi hit up 311, Gautam Gambhir (72), Neeraj Chawla (58) and Rajan Gupta (54) being the principal scorers. Ishan Ganda claimed five for 65. In their second essay, Haryana scored 240 for seven, Ajay Ratra (74), satish (59) and Bhuvnesh (53) being the main contributors. Medium pacer Rakesh Raman Jha (3 for 72) and spinner Kundan Mehra (3 for 47) were the main wicket-takers.
