MUMBAI, Nov 1: A hat-trick by Abdul Fahim helped Maharashtra State Police (MSP) drub Nanded DFA 7-0 to enter the second round of 10th Mini-Rovers Cup football tournament at Cooperage today.Striker Fahim got full support from the team's play-maker Abdul Abid who was also successful in nodding in two goals for MSP against the weak opponents. Medio's Baban Parve and Nimoy Roy scored a goal each for the Senior division team of Western India Football India (WIFA).
In the second match of the day, Kolhapur DFA edged past Bombay Customs 2-1. Striker Abhijit Shinde and Richie Fernandes scored a goal each for the visitors while Nandu Navilla reduced the margin for the losers.
