NEW DELHI, November 4: A disciplined 90 by wicketkeeper-batsman Pradeep Chawla, who struck two sixes and 10 boundaries, and a solid 59 by Karun Jethi helped Salwan Boys School (Rajender Nagar) score an innings and six-run victory over Sardar Patel Vidyalaya to move into the final of the third Bon Ton inter-school tournament, organised by Gyan Bharati School (Saket).Salwan Boys amassed 289 for nine in the stipulated 65 overs. Puru Singh of SPV was the most successful bowler, claiming seven for 83. But SPV were dismissed for 137 in their first innings and following on were shot out for 146 in the second essay.
Nitin Aggarwal (5 for 38) and Dilip TT (4 for 40) destroyed them in the first innings while it was the turn of mandeep Singh (4 for 34) and Bhupender Dhuper (4 for 26) in the second.

Sardar Patel Vidyalaya: 137 in 52 overs (Kunal Sethi 32 not out, Dhruv Mohan 27, Nitin Aggarwal 5 for 38, Dilip TT 4 for 40) and 146 in 37 overs (Nitin Mishra 38, Nishant Chug 21, Mandeep Singh 4 for 34, Bhupinder Dhuper 4 for 26, Nitin Aggarwal 2 for 40).
