3 held for carrying liquor In separate seizures on Thursday evening, the police have arrested three residents of the Dadu Majra Colony, including a woman, and reportedly seized 105 pouches of country made liquor from their possession. The police claim that Tulsi Ram was arrested from near his house and 38 pouches seized from him, while 37 pouches were seized from Om Prakash alias Omi. Joginder Kaur alias Bindo has been arrested and 40 pouches of liquor recovered from her possession, it was added. Separate cases have been registered under the Excise Act.Two injured in road mishaps Nanki Devi, a resident of Kalyan Nagar Jagadhri in Yamuna Nagar district was injured after she was reportedly hit by a scooter in Khuda Lahora village while Babu Khan, a resident of Dhelu village in Mandi district, was reportedly hit by a CTU bus near the Punjab University gate in separate road accidents. The two have been admitted to the PGI. Scooterist injured Ashima, a resident of Sector 41, was injured when her scooter was reportedly hit by a car driven by Sashi Sarita, a resident of Sector 38, on the road dividing Sectors 35 and 43, last evening.
