UN Security Council tells Iraq to allow re-entry of UNSCOM
The Security Council on Friday directed Iraq to ``immediately and unconditionally'' resume cooperation with UN weapons inspectors and in its turn promised a comprehensive review of sanctions once it complies.

US denies separate package to Pak
The US has refused to offer any separate economic package to Pakistan, saying there was need to ``nail down commitments'' on the non-proliferation issue, even as there are indications that the talks process would be wrapped up before next month's meeting between President Bill Clinton and Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif.

Talibans slam US for offering reward for capture of bin Laden
The Talibans have slammed the United States for announcing reward for capture of Saudi billionaire Osama bin Laden, suspected to be a mastermind in the august US embassy blasts, even as a Pakistani Muslim group threatened Washington with retaliation ``if it did not stop its campaign'' against bin Laden.
