BJP faces wrath of allies for "grab-all" attitude
Unhappy with the BJP's grab-all attitude when it comes to seat-sharing, its allies have decided to put up their own candidates for the Assembly elections. The Shiv Sena, Lok Shakti, Trinamool Congress and the Samata Party are to field candidates against the BJP in the elections.

Jaya at it again; alleges deal on Cauvery
AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalitha has alleged that there was a secret pact between Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and that the latter had signed the new Cauvery accord only to secure a reassurance that his Government would not be dismissed.

Trinamool not to enter fray in Delhi
Reverting its decision, Trinamool Congress on Friday announced pulling out of the Assembly election in Delhi saying funds crunch prompted the move. Trinamool Congress chairperson Mamata Banerjee, however, said that her party would extend ``total'' support if any ``good'' Independent candidate sought it in Delhi.
