LUCKNOW, NOV 8: The Samajwadi Party will hold sit-ins and demonstrations at all district headquarters in the State tomorrow.This was decided after the Allahabad high court declared party's proposed bandh tomorrow illegal.
Talking to media persons here today State party chief Ramsaran Das said as many as 10,000 party workers including Mau MP Daroga Saro, Bareilly MLA Chhotelal and Lakhimpur MLA Dr Kaushal Kishore have been arrested so far.
Das alleged that frightened by the party's bandh preparations, State Governmment submitted a petition in the high court following which the court declared the bandh illegal. So far the party had not received a copy of the court's decision in this regard yet it had decided to obey court order.
