WB Congmen's nomination for by-polls rejected

CALCUTTA, NOV 8: The by-elections for the two Assembly seats in West Bengal took an interesting turn yesterday with the nomination papers of the two Congress nominees being rejected on technical grounds.According to Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Jhawar Sarkar, West Bengal, the candidature of the Congress nominees selected for Mayureswar in Birbhum and Nandanpur in Midnapore Districts, were rejected as the Election Departments of the State did not receive both the Forms A and B before the stipulated time.
