Guest speaker A.S. Sandhu, Business Manager of Net Explosion Cybercafe, talked about planning a successful career in the field of Information Technology. He focused on the concept of "global community".

A key point of the presentation was information democracy _ how the availability of information was dismantling economic race and class barriers. Through examples of electronic commerce, Sandhu illustrated how small and large businesses were becoming global in their vision. The live demonstration included applying for a job on-line as well as sending an e-mail to US President Bill Clinton.

Deepak Mehan, president, Rotary Club, stressed upon the need to inform students and parents that other career streams besides medicine and engineering are available and are equally satisfying and need to be explored.
