Spivey claims individual title

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
NEW DELHI, November 8: Philip Spivey of the United Kingdom, riding Parwana, won the individual event of the international show jumping competitions which concluded here today. Lt D Keogh of Ireland on Top Gun came second and Luis Scalella of Argentina on Al-Fateh was third.

In the bottom 50 % competitions, Nitin Gupta on Royal Run came first with zero penalty points.

Great Britain and Argentina were declared joint winners while India `A' emerged fifth in the international show jumping team competitions (CSI `B') yesterday.

The results of the competition, which was held among seven teams from six countries, were based on the the performance of the two best riders from each team.
