NEW DELHI, Nov 8: Fancied Birsamunda Vidyapitha (Rourkela), playing a fast and attacking game, opened their campaign in the Super League of the 16th Nehru-ONGC sub-junior hockey tournament in style routing D.A.V School, Shahbad 5-0 at the National Stadium here today.Jerun Kajur gave his side the lead in the 14th minute and four minutes later Bikas Toppo made it 2-0.
Binay Prakash increased the tally in the 26th minute and nine minutes later Bikas Toppo scored his second and team's fourth goal.
Binay Prakash completed the tally, scoring his second and team's fifth goal in the 47th minute. Earlier, winners of the Junior Nehru title, B R C Danapur dropped a point as they were held to a goalless draw by Sat Guru Pratap Academy (Jalandhar).
