Two persons had died and four seriously injured, when a truck hit a roadside tree and car collided head-on with another vehicle on Sunday afternoon. Korat, who was passing by on his way to Vadodara from Gandhinagar, immediately asked his driver to stop when signalled by the people and helped move the injured to hospital.

Near Karjan, when Korat saw a truck being stopped in front of his car and policemen allegedly demanding money from the driver, he alighted from his vehicle and checked their official vehicle, said District Superintendent of Police Shamsher Singh. And after finding Rs 14,000 cash stashed in the vehicle, Korat informed the police promptly, he added.
