Reach out for change
After Mohammad Ali Jinnah delivered his speech in support of the subcontinent's division, I asked him, how Pakistan would react if a third country attacked India. Pat came the reply: "The Pakistani soldiers would fight the enemy side-by-side with India."

Last time we had set the problem of education, health, drinking water and access in India's villages. Since the silly season is soon expected in which as it gets cold in the North there is large scale migration of experts to warmer climes.

Target Mumbai
The "city of gold" is fast turning into the "city of guns and gore". With 83 shootouts and 88 killings this year, gangsters have rewritten the history of crime in Mumbai. In fact, 1998 has been one of the bloodiest years in the city, apart from 1992-93 when Mumbai had seen the communal riots following the Babri Masjid demolition.
