BHOPAL, Nov 11: The Bhartiya Janata Party has expelled five dissidents including Madhya Pradesh former chief minister Virendra Kumar Saklecha from the party for contesting as independents against the official party candidate. BJP sources said that disciplinary action had been taken by the state party president Nand Kumar Sai against Virendra Kumar Saklecha, who is contesting from Jawad in Neemuch district.
Similar action has been taken against Kanahiyalal Surma who is contesting as an independent from Sanchi in Raisen district, Nathsingh Pawar from Vidisha, Prakash Paliwal from Sironj in Vidisha district and Rajendra Singh Baghel from Vijay Raghavgarh dsitrict.
