NEW DELHI, November 17: Left-handed Harsh Chopra of Food Corporation of India and Ekta Bhambri of Lady Shriram College won the men's and women's singles titles, respectively, in the fifth Arrowhead Open table tennis tournament at Talkatora Indoor Stadium here today.Chopra defeated his FCI team-mate Gagandeep Singh Mehta 21-18, 20-22, 21-14, 21-15 while Ekta got the better of former international Nandini Kulkarni of IDBI 21-8, 27-25, 21-16.
Pratima Sayal of Hansraj Model School (Punjabi Bagh) claimed a `double' when she defeated Mansi Sachdeva of Delhi Public School 21-15, 21-11, 21-14 in girls final, to add to the sub-junior title she had won the previous day.
Results (all finals): Men's singles: Harsh Chopra bt Gagandeep Singh Mehta 21-18, 20-22, 21-14, 21-15. Women's singles: Ekta Bhambri bt Nandini Kulkarni 21-8, 27-25, 21-16. Boys singles: Ansh Adlakha bt Mrinal Mondal 21-14, 21-18, 15-4 (latter conceded). Girls singles: Pratima Sayal bt Mansi Sachdeva 21-15, 21-11, 21-14.
