AYODHYA, Nov 18: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will celebrate December 6, the day the Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992, as `Shourya Diwas (Valour Day)', its joint secretary Onkar Bhava said here today. He told reporters the sixth anniversary of the demolition ``would be celebrated like Diwali and the whole of Ayodhya would be illuminated.''
Besides, a number of sants and mahants would participate in a big Hindu Sammelan (congregation) to mark the day, he added.
Bhave also termed as ``anti-national'' the decision of the Darul Uloom sect of Deoband to issue a fatwa against the chanting of Vande Mataram in government schools.
