Petrol-pump looted The manager of Rajkumar petrol pump, located on Ring Road of the city, complained to the Salabatpura police that three people robbed him of Rs 1.25 lakh in cash during the early hours of Sunday. According to the complainant, Tilakraj Sahni, the accused, Trilokinath Ghod, his brother Shivkumar and one Mewaram tied him up with a rope at around 3 am on Sunday and threatened to kill him with a knife. They then forcibly took the keys of the cupboard and escaped with the cash. Sahni told the police that while Trilokinath was an employee of the petrol pump, Mewaram was a former employee. PSI Gadhvi of the Salabatpura police station is investigating the case. No arrests have been made, while a case has been registered against the three under IPC 392 and 114.Vehicle thefts Three vehicles, two motorcycles and a scooter, were reported stolen in separate cases of vehicle theft registered in the city police stations. One Bharat Natwarlal complained to the Salabatpura police on Sunday that his Hero Honda motorcycle (GJ 5 J 2723) was stolen from Cefci Textile Market on Saturday night where it was parked. In another case registered at the Varachha police station, a Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle (GJ 5 P 7520) was stolen from the parking of Santoishinagar Society during the night hours. One Vajubhai Babubhai complained to the police on Sunday that the vehicle was stolen from the parking space of his apartment. In the third case registered at the Salabatpura police station, a LML Vespa scooter (GJ 5 SS 7819) was stolen from opposite Rattan Cinema on Saturday night.
