Fear of violence in Baijnath

SHIMLA, Nov 22: Himachal Pradesh government has asked the Centre to place at its disposal at least one company of para-military force for deployment at Baijnath following apprehension from various official and non-official quarters about violence during the polls on November 25.Reliable sources said Kangra police have submitted a report to the state government conveying that it had received certain sensitive information about planning being done by a political party to ``engineering'' violence during the polls.
