CHANDIGARH, Nov 22: An unbeaten century by Ravinder Nain (114 not out) and fine spell by off-spinner Sanjay Dhull (5 for 17) enabled SD College to score a 210-run victory over Government College Sector 46 to enter the quarterfinal of the Punjab University Inter-College men's cricket tournament held at PU campus here today.Batting first SD-32 piled up a huge score of 325 in the allotted 50 overs, losing nine wickets. Ravinder Nain stroked freely and bailed out SD-32 out of a sticky situation. He came to the crease when the team was 74 for 6. He got 114 runs off 82 balls and was also engaged in a 105-run sixth-wicket partnership Sanjay Dhull. Sanjay Dhull contributed 27 runs.
Later Amit Uniyal blasted 58 runs off just 23 balls.
In reply GC-46 were back in the pavilion in the 29th over for a paltry score of 115. Ravi (36) was the main scorer for the losers.
Apart from Sanjay Dhull, Jaisreet Bajwa and Amit Uniyal got three and two wickets respectively.
