Munde promises full security to Pakistan team
Reiterating Prime Minister Vajpayee's resolve to allow the Pakistan cricket team to play on Indian soil without any hindrance, Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde has promised full security to the Pakistanis coming to play in the state early next year.

The long-delayed process of selecting around 5,000 dealers for various petroleum products across the country took off to a controversial start a few days ago, with some of the retired judges appointed for the task complaining of inadequate remuneration, and the oil companies complaining of undue interference by the Government.

J&K minister's undergraduate son lands plum job in Mumbai
While thousands of unemployed youth are languishing in neglect, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed Finance Minister Mohammad Shafi's son as assistant tourist officer in "relaxation of the recruitment rules". Shafi's son Owais is an undergraduate and has been posted at Mumbai.
