Former Superintendent of Police (Anti-Corruption Bureau) Ravindra Kadam from the city, who was transferred to Bhandara district as Additional SP, has now been transferred to New Mumbai Commissionerate in capacity of Deputy Commissioner.

Similarly, SP (Anti-Naxalite Operations) Atul Kulkarni, who joined at the post a couple of months ago, has been shifted to Bhandara to fill the vacancy created by the transfer of SP Prashant Burde.

Former city DCP (Crime) Bhimrao Raut, who was transferred to Nasik as SP (Rural), has been put on compulsory waiting since the transfer of present incumbent B D More has been cancelled. More was scheduled to leave on deputation, but his deputation has been cancelled.

Other modifications are: Nasik DCP (City) Vivek Phansalkar retains his post as his transfer as Parbhani SP has beencancelled. Pune DCP Chandrakant Ughade has also been retained with his transfer to Nasik Commissionerate cancelled.

Pune DCP (Traffic) P D Paware has been transferred to SRPF Group-III, Jalna, as Commandant, while present Commandant V N Jadhav has been shifted to Thane Commissionerate. Ahemed Nagar DSP D M Phadtare has been promoted and posted as Additional SP of the same district, while Addl SP Ahmed Nagar, Anoop Kumar, has been moved to Osmanabad as SP. The present SP of Osmanabad Amitabha Gupta has been shifted as SP Parbhani.

DCP Pune Ramrao Pawar's transfer to Bhandara has been cancelled and has been retained at Pune Commissionerate. Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sangamner, V R Chavan who was recently promoted and posted as DCP Thane has been called back and asked to wait for modified order.
