Three assaulted
Ambalal Ranchodbhai Rajput and two members of his family, all residents of Sama village, who had gone to the District Courts in connection with a litigation over a piece of land, were assaulted by the rivals in the court premises on Monday, the police said. The Raopura police have registered a case against three persons in this connection.

Shop burgled
Dry fruits including almond and spices worth Rs 11,700 was stolen from a shop `Ujam Masala' located in National Plaza last night. According to JP Road police, thieves entered the shop by removing window grills.

IMFL seized
Indian-made foreign liquor worth Rs. 17,350, which was illegally stored in a house in Gujarat Refinery area on the outskirts of the city, was seized by the police on Monday.
