VADODARA, Nov 23: Vice-Chancellor of the M S University Anil Kane has appointed V D Pathak as his nominated member in the Syndicate. She will replace former V-C Padma Ramchandran's nominee Maya Shah.In-charge Registrar of the university N Pandya said that the V-C had handed over the appointment letter to Pathak on Monday. Shah, who is now in USA, will be informed after she returned, he added.
Talking to Express Newsline a senior Syndicate member of the university said that it was necessary that Kane inform Shah about the decision. When Kane took over as the V-C in September, he had asked Shah to continue as the nominated member, though Shah had offered to resign from the post, he said adding that Kane had asked her to continue till further notice was given to her.
