CHANDIGARH, Nov 23: A resident of Kinnaur district was today jailed for one month and fined Rs 1,000 after he banged a jeep into the roundabout adjoining Kajheri village allegedly in a drunken state today.According to the police, Yatin Narbu, was driving a jeep bearing a Himachal Pradesh registration number, when it crashed into the roundabout. A medical examination revealed that he was ``under the influence of liquor,'' area SHO B.S. Chadha said.
Narbu was booked under the Motor Vehicle Act and convicted to one month's imprisonment and fined Rs 1,000 by the area Magistrate, police said.
