Birla Vidya Niketan holds annual show Former PM I.K. Gujral inaugurated the annual cultural function of Birla Vidya Niketan at Siri Fort Auditorium on Saturday. More than 500 students took part in the programme in which four plays were staged, including Firebird, based on a Russian folk tale and Rang aur Nritya ki Jhankar, tracing the journey of music and dance from primeval times to Tansen and Baiju Bawara. The children also put an English play Divine Justice, which was a fusion of sound and movement inspired by Tolstoy's works, and that of Pancha Tantra.Traffic diversions The police have advised motorists to avoid using all roads connecting Chandni Chowk and Gurudwara Rakabganj at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. A procession to mark the Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur will pass through the following areas: Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib-Chandni Chowk-Nai Sadak-Hauz Qazi-Ajmeri Gate-Desh Bandhu Gupta Road- Main Bazaar-Pahar Ganj-Panchkhuian Road-Connaught Place-Baba Kharak Singh Marg-Gurudwara Bangla Sahib-G.P.O.-Pandit Pant Marg-Gurudwara Rakabganj.
