In the round-robin league match, Manan Nagpal won two matches to clinch the first position while Mohit Bajaj with one win and one defeat bagged the second spot.

In snooker, Michael Dass outclassed Manan Nagpal 34-27, 54-40, 23-92, 70-40, to enter the final.

In the girls section there were only two entries and Aradhana Duggal claimed first positions in both billiards and snooker events. In billiards she outplayed Priya Bedi 150-130. Aradhana, also proved far better than Priya in snooker, whom she defeated 50-35, 44-54, 46-42.

Pawan excels
Pawan Kapoor of CITCO entered the fourth round of the USA Tennis Association Satellite Championship at Tucson (Arizona) yesterday, according to information received here, he beat Zoltan Hitts (USA) 6-4, 6-4.

Pawan in the first round got a bye and defeated Sando Krisk of Germany in the second round.

However, another Indian, Amanjeet Gill playing on the circuit lost to Zossa Wald 3-6, 2-6, in the second round.
