DDA games
S P Bansal and A K Bhattacharya emerged winners of carom doubles title defeating N K Aggarwal and Surinder Srivastava 21-20, 25-23 in the DDA indoor games.

In the semi-final, NK Aggarwal and Surinder Srivastava beat DB Kalkar and SC Karnwal 21-19, 25-16 while SP Bansal and AK Bhattacharya triumphed over Chandra Ballabh and AK Gupta 25-14, 25-15, respectively.

Basketball meet
The Raj Kumar Kaushik Delhi State Basketball Championship has been deferred due to the Federation Cup at Berhampur during the same dates. Now the state championship will be held from December 1 to 5 at Master Prithvi Nath Basketball Stadium, Ajmal Khan Park, Karol Bagh.

Entries close on November 28 with Harish Sharma, Secretary, Delhi Basketball Association, 465, Joshi Road, Karol Bagh.

APS, Montfort win
Army Public School (Dhaula Kuan) won the boys section title of the eighth Vidyawati Alagh memorial basketball tournament defeating Mt St Mary's 40-39, in a closely-fought match at Mira Model Senior Secondary School (Janakpuri) courts. Tejpratap (11), Manish (9) were the top scorers for APS while Raman (14) and Arjun (10) scored for the losers.

In girls section, Montfort (Ashok Vihar) prevailed over Mount Carmel 30-27. Priya (13), Archana (11) scored for the winners while Onyeche (15) and Ehi (12) were the main contributors for the losers.

Manish Sangwan (APS) and Neha Bhardwaj (Montfort) were decalered best players of the tournament in boys and girls section, respectively.

Chiranjeev shines
Fine batting by Chiranjeev (79) enabled Meera Model School, Janakpuri reach the semi-final of Laxman memorial inter-state tournament defeating Delhi Public School Ghaziabad by five runs.

Sachdeva Public School, Pitampura won the overall trophy in the North Delhi inter-public school games and sports meet. CRPF School, Rohini bagged the athletics trophy. As many as 18 schools participated in a variety of sports including badminton, football, throwball and athletics. Olympion Ashok Kumar gave away prizes to the winners.

Netball tourney
Netball Federation of India will organise the second Asian Youth Netball Championship at IG Stadium from November 26 to 30.
