Maharashtra champions

NASIK, Dec 1: Maharashtra clinched the Mayor's Cup in the 44th National School Aquatic Championship by winning 112 medals, including 46 gold and 43 silver. Karnataka were runner-up with 22 gold, 23 silver and 20 bronze while West Bengal finished third with a tally of 58, on the concluding day here last evening.Swaraj Patil (Nashik), Avinash Kriplani (Mumbai) and Yogesh Watve (Mumbai) won awards in various groups for their outstanding performance.
