Dubai-based jewellers promise bonanza

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, December 1: Ary's -- recognised by the rainbow hearts -- gold promotion programme affords lucky ones a chance of winning free gold with the purchase of any ARY underlined product.

Said to be the world's single largest gold promotion effort by any company, Dubai-based ARY jewellers promise a bonanza for its customers, traders and the World Gold Council (WGC). Elaborating, Salman Iqbal, Director of ARY traders, says: ``It is an all-win situation: patrons get incentives, traders benefit by increased sales and the World Gold Council benefits from gold being promoted''.

Giving credit to the jewellers, Iqbal said: ``A programme of this kind is impossible without the support of the jewellers who have been certified as the privileged jewellers''.

To become a privileged customer, one has to participate in the ``ARY Bullionaire'' contest. One starts by visiting a ``privileged jewellers'' shop selling ARY items. Purchase any ARY jewellery weighing 10 gm or above and fill in the complimentary entry coupon. Answer any of the two questions given and drop it at the nearest ARY bullionare raffle box or TNT express worldwide. If lady luck favours you, you could be one of the 20 winners of a 100 gm gold bar. And also be the owner of 20 kg of gold following the final draw on February 15. ``The first draw was conducted by Azharuddin on November 7. The second draw that is to take place after six days is likely to be conducted by South Indian actor Mamooty'', informed Iqbal. All the draws will take place in Dubai under the strict examination of the Economic Department of Dubai government.

The promotion scheme of ARY also includes presentations to various jewellers throughout India. After organising successful presentations in Mumbai and Calcutta, the ARY team visited the Capital. A presentation was conducted where a number of jewellers participated to avail the opportunity of becoming the ``privileged jeweller''.
