"Sidelined" BJP MP quits Lok Sabha
Vijayanand Sankeshwar, BJP MP, has quit his Lok Sabha seat and has decided to boycott the Parliament, because he says, party leaders and its government are humiliating and neglecting him. He said many other MPs were facing a similar situation.

No threat to Maharashtra Govt: Joshi
Amid growing speculation over a group of Independent MLAs considering returning to the Congress fold before or during the the winter session beginning December 14, the Chief Minister Manohar Joshi asserted that there was absolutely no threat to his government.
