VADODARA, Dec 3: The student union leaders of the Faculty of Science, M S University staged a chakka jam in Sayajigunj on Thursday to demand action against Sayajigunj Police Inspector P Mukul, who reportedly beat up two students in the campus.While the demonstrations were staged outside the campus so that classes in the university are not disturbed, more students joined in the protest for students' cause.
The All-India Democratic Students' Organisation (AIDSO), while condemning the police action, said the incident not only proved that the police needed to be removed from the campus, but had also instilled fear in the minds of the students' community.
