CHANDIGARH, Dec 4: A 20-year-old youth was found dead in his house in Sector 27. The deceased, Lalthan Chhunga, hailed from Aizwal (Mizoram) and was a student of BA-I in Sector 26 Guru Gobind Singh College.According to the police sources, Lalthan and his room-mate had studied right through the night in their house in Sector 27-D before going to bed at around 5 a.m. today. Around 2 p.m., one of their friends residing in Sector 15, dropped in and knocked at the door. After some time, Lalthan's room-mate opened the door. They tried to wake up Lalthan. But when they removed his quilt from over his face, they found he was dead, police sources added.
The police suspects that he had probably consumed some poisonous substance, the sources said. The body has been sent for post mortem.
