Smack seized, one held
Police arrested Anil Kumar from near the Sector 5 turn and recovered 25 grams of smack from his possession. Following a tip-off, SIs Sunehra Singh and Sukhwinder Pal Singh nabbed the accused at around 10 p.m. last night. A case has been registered.Two arrested for stealing
Two Sector 24 residents, Ravinder Kumar and Mannu, were reportedly caught red-handed and a stolen motorcycle was recovered from their possession. The police acted on a complaint by the motorcycle owner Krishan Kumar, a resident of Sector 23. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Assault case, two arrested
Two employees of Haryana Transport department were arrested last evening for allegedly assaulting their colleague Kali Charan. Police have registered a case under Section 325 and 334 of IPC.
